Masters Par 3 Competition
The big news this week is the Masters! To commemorate this, we are once again holding our own Masters Par 3 Competition on Friday afternoon. The field may be full, but that doesn’t mean anyone is excluded. Come down to the club to watch as the players finish on the 18th with music, drinks and festivities. The R10K draw will also be taking place downstairs on the forecourt and it will be a big party, so don’t miss it!

Please note that there will be no 9 holes available on Friday afternoon outside the competition.

League News
Good luck to our Masters and Mid Am sides, both playing league on Saturday. We are taking on Rondebosch in both. The members competition is Monthly Medal. Good luck gentlemen.

Speaking of Monthly Medal, the ladies held their monthly medal on Tuesday and competition was fierce with a number of count-outs to find the winners. Well played to all. It is gratifying to see such a big field for ladies medal and how the ladies section continues to thrive!

Friendly reminder
A reminder to all to take your sandbags and repair divots, as well as rake bunkers and repair pitchmarks. It is up to all of us to ensure the course remains pristine.

Feedback
Some feedback on the water and shower situation is that we are making good progress. The planning is now virtually complete and we have a very good idea of what is required. The final costing will be complete next week, with installation expected shortly thereafter. A special word of thanks to Rudy Regenass for all his assistance, both via e-mail from Thailand and since he has been back in South Africa. Sorting through quotes and actually determining what is necessary with a project like this can be a daunting proposition. More information next week.

Club Knockout
Entries for the Club Knockout have been extended so please contact the office to put your name down. The first round is on the 14th April. We will need to finalise the draw this Friday 6th April at 12h00, so call the ladies before then.

Ladies Monthly Mixed bookings are now open for next Sunday 15th April. Call the ladies in the office to book your place.
