One day of women playing golf - all around the world!

Have you signed up?

Even if it should rain tomorrow - the day will go on, and we will socialize indoors!

If you’re already a golfer, it's a great day to find new partners.
No matter your playing ability, you're welcome to attend.

Get here anytime between 3pm and 6pm

Participants have the option of:
Taking lessons: 1/2 hour on the driving range and 1/2 hour chipping and putting

Playing: a 9-hole scramble or play their own ball as long as the round can be completed in by 6pm

Then the fun really begins...
Two Hours of Socializing 6-8pm

During the two hours of socializing you will have a chance to pick up information on how to become
more involved with golf here at Turtle Hill, chat with Ladies who also played in the Women's Day,

Congratulations to Ariya Jutanugarn winner of the U.S. Women’s Open on Sunday at Shoal Creek. What a save that was. She lost a seven-shot lead on the back-nine, before winning on the fourth playoff hole.

We’re in the countdown to the second men’s Major: the 2018 U.S. Open Championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. We’re also in the long run up to a Ryder Cup later this year. So, when we say that this year, more than ever before, you can see this being one-of-our-own to walk away with the winner’s check. it’s a comment that has relevance beyond just the U.S. Open.

The greens at a U.S. Open are frighteningly quick. That means the winner is going to be a golfer who holds his nerve on the 3, 4 and 5-footers. Both McIlroy and Spieth have looked fragile over the short testers in recent months. Jordan Spieth seems to raise his game for the Majors so maybe he’ll overcome that weakness.

But, if you’re thinking of a wager, then examine the Tour’s putting statistics. The winner will be highly placed in that category. By the way, how do you perform from 5-feet in on the greens? Have you kept your stats? Contact us if we can help you sink more putts.

Think about the Par 3’s you play. What is the distance that you just don’t have covered in your bag?
For most golfers, there will be a point between 180 yards and 200 yards where they just don’t have
the club to hit the target distance.

Some of you may even have a club to get to the green but find you’re just not able to stop the ball.
Your mis-hit is short; your perfect strike, through the back.

The higher lofted Fairway Wood is a great solution for a regular to slower swing speed golfer.
The deeper CoG, and usually lower profile, helps to get the ball higher with a steeper landing trajectory.
The ball stops quicker.
Bring your problem distance to us. Let us spend time whether improving your technique with an existing club,
or filling the gap with a better solution. Come and spend 45 minutes with us,
and let’s see how best to fill that gap.

If you’re playing golf, outside of a competition, then it’s your rules that count.
If you’ve got some less experienced golfers in your four-ball, you’ll be surprised how much more they enjoy
the round if you play a “scramble drive”. That’s where everyone tees off, but you all play your second
shot from the position of the best tee shot.
You can still have friendly competition, but it’s likely that this is a much more social format:
you come together on the tee; for the 2nd shot; and on the green. That’s more fun together.

Try it. Try and think of different ways to play the game, to allow the less skilled the opportunity to
get much more enjoyment from the experience.

And if you need help finding more fairways on your own, then
