Wellington Boot: Saturday 7th July 2018
The 48th year of the Inter Club Challenge between Durbanville Golf Club and Wellington Golf Club, better known as The Boot, will be played on Saturday 7th July at Wellington Golf Club. This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, Inter Club Challenges in the Western Cape still being played.
The team to play at Wellington has been selected and I would just like to remind them that the scoring system is a 4BBB Stableford format with all Team scores added together. We are the current holders of the Boot and 2017 scores were DGC 620 TO Wellingtons 607. So if you are up on your opposition with 4 holes to go, keep adding the points, and if you are down with 4 holes to go, pull your finger out!
Tee times for Wellington have been SMS’d on Wednesday, 4th July. Carts must be booked at Wellington in advance.
Play well and bring back the Boot.
