PING came through for us!

For those of you who have been begging for PING to make a true Players Iron with some distance attributes, here you go. This is all you.

The PING Blueprint Forged Iron is a hollowed, tiny little Players Iron. If you’re near a scratch or working towards it, this might be nirvana for you. While it’s a weird sounding name, something tells me this won’t be the final version.

Since we’re talking about Players Irons, the TaylorMade P760 have made their introduction into the golf world. Not quite as small as their competition, they’re still forged and are designed to pack a serious punch with their SpeedFoam technology.

Shafts make all the difference

We’re still getting in a ton of inquiries about shafts. I dare think that people realize that while new clubs are fantastic (and they really are), the shaft makes the difference, all other things being equal.

I do have to say, if your iron, wood and hybrid heads are over five years old, you’re missing out on some distance and accuracy. But I understand: If you’re limited in funds and can’t afford a fancy new bag, the next best thing you can do is get fit and upgrade your shafts. You’ll breathe new life into that old set and see your golf game in an entirely different way. The best way to get your questions answered is to just come in for a fitting and see if we can liven up your current set.

We guarantee you’ll be surprised by what they can do!

Care to testify?

What would a newsletter be without testimonials?

Both texts we received from P.H., just one short week after our fitting weekend at Eagles Bluff Golf Club:

"I hit my new woods on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The difference is unbelievable. Everyone is asking when you are coming back out. I can’t wait to get my irons." ~ P.H.

"I really can’t believe how good they feel and accurate. One of the guys I play with on Sunday is always 10 or more yards longer on his drive than me. I was outdriving him by 20 yards. The launch on my woods is incredible. Worth every penny!" ~ P.H.

We reshafted his driver head into the UST Coool Shaft and his fairway woods and hybrids with Accra FX 2.0 shafts.

A simple reshaft can bring your bag up to speed and more importantly, save you some disposable income.

The number one

Step to more great shots

Your approach shot accuracy depends on you squaring the face to the target line.
You must have the right Lie angles for your golf swing.
The sole will be square to the turf at impact. You’ll be straighter.

If the toe is up (vs. the heel), then your face will automatically point to the left (for right-handers). You’re missing before you start.  If the heel is up (vs. the toe), then your face will automatically point to the right (for right-handers). Perfectly aligned, great swing, you’re still missing right?

We want you to hit more great shots

Let us help you hit more great shots. Let us check out your lie angles.
Get that right, and you’ll be amazed at how much more accurate you are.
This applies to all golfers. Why waste a great swing?

Titleist TS Drivers

Technology going to new heights and faster speeds

The crown, face, chassis, head shape, weight distribution, have all been redesigned to increase speed across the whole face while protecting launch conditions. The extra speed is combined with lower spin rates to create a longer carry.

Your wedge and ball flight

Shooting it in lower

If you watch the best golfers play this shot, you’ll notice they seem to nip the turf (rather than carving out a divot), and they then seem to have a shorter follow-through.

When we see golfers trying to play this shot on the range, many move the ball back in their
stance and play with a steeper angle of attack, under the impression that will create more spin.
Actually a shallow angle of attack with clean contact creates more spin.

Come and learn to control ball flight

Being able to shoot the ball in with a slightly lower trajectory and
the spin to check the ball quickly, makes distance control so much easier.
Come and learn how to play this shot.
