Congratulations to two of our Junior Golf Academy Members.

Lea van der Merwe won the Under-11 Division of the Junior Africa Challenge at San Lameer while Lebanzi Tselane finished third in the Boys 8 & Under Division.

Lebanzi has a lovely swing. He’s been coming to group classes twice a week for the last few months which has made a big impact on his game.

Lea has been coming for private lessons for two years and is really starting to reap the rewards. She is a strong eleven year old and has just recently transitioned from a junior set to a Ladies Cleveland Bloom set, so is benefiting from having been custom fitted.

SADGA’s Inter-schools…

Well done to Lily Reich from the SADGA, Justin Godfrey and the students from the Golf Management Campus for a successful Inter-Schools event at Zwartkop in August. Check out this link which was aired on SABC.
 

Passport for golfers

You can pick up a Passport Golfers in the Golf Shop. For R1000 you will get a passport to play at golf courses in Gauteng. You need to book a four-ball but your own round is for free at each of the courses. When you consider that this includes Blair Athol so that makes up your fee right there and then!
