Men’s Strokeplay
Who will have the winning stroke?
Men’s Strokeplay round one takes place this Saturday, 14th Septemberand round 2 is on Saturday, 21st September. It will be a two-tee start, with those teeing off on the 1st in round one teeing off on the 10th in round two and vice versa. There will still be a Nett haggle on both days.
The draw to be released by Friday, September 13th.
Contact the Pro Shop urgently if you intend to play and are not already registered for the draw.

We need you!
We have seen our volunteer numbers on the course growing, and we still welcome and need more of you.
Each Tuesday we run Working Bee’s and if you would like to get involved in the improvement of our course.
If you have bar experience and would like to put your expert drink-pouring skills to good use, then join our volunteer programme. We'd love to have you in amongst the chatter at our clubhouse.

Fitting for approach shot magic
When we fit you for new irons, we can add "distance" which means a shorter club. And using a club with a shorter shaft on approach shots leads to more accuracy.
Many club makers have identified 37 as an important point in shaft length. Above that length and most golfers' consistency of contact starts to deteriorate rapidly. So allowing you to hit a 37“ #7 iron rather than a ‘longer’ #6 iron is a big deal.
