Hello everyone,

We begin this week with some sad news. Richard Davies passed away at the age of 79 on Thursday. He was a member of the club for 5 years and will be missed by all his friends at Westlake. Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Golf Course

Just a reminder of a few things happening on the course:

• The 3rd and 16th greens are being re-done from this week, but disruption is minimal. The new par 3 will simply take the place of the 3rd and there is a beautiful new temporary green on the 16th while this work takes place. Amended scorecards are available in the Pro Shop.

• Hollowtining of fairways continues on the 2nd 9 this week.

Finally, a reminder that Thursday 24th September is Heritage Day and we will be having an all-day competition with braai packs for sale and braaiing by our Chef. More details on Thursday.
