We are embracing the new normal
Ever since we re-opened, we’ve had wonderful support from our members. Obviously, we are learning to adapt to a “new normal”, so there’s no socializing after golf, which is hugely disappointing given that we’ve always felt that it is a huge part of the game.
Our weekend time sheets have been full, but we are still experiencing a couple of “no shows”. Therefore, we ask that you please be courteous towards other members by cancelling 48 hours in advance, so that we can offer your place to someone else.
Another problem we are experiencing is that Weekday and 6-day Members are playing on Saturdays. Please remember that those members may only book for a Saturday on the Thursday before. It is not fair to other full members if you including these members into your Fourball.
From 1st August, all our caddies and staff who do not currently have medical aid, will be signed up with National Health Care’s MediClub Connect, which will provide them basic assistance and acute medical care when needed. This will be provided free of charge for six months and thereafter, we will pay the premium on their behalf.
We hope you will support our regular raffles, as we will be using the money raised towards the premiums. However, we also welcome any donations or sponsors towards this cause. Premiums are R95/person/month. Please chat to Dale if you would like to get involved. We'd like to thank the Saturday School for their donation of R1000 towards this - it's greatly appreciated.
Our current raffle is for this sleek bar fridge, donated by Ronnie from the Kloofsig Spar. There are only 50 tickets up for grabs at R50 each.

Be sure to come slightly earlier as we have live music from 16h00 – 18h00 and the restaurant closes at 19h00. This allows our staff members to get home before the curfew sets in. We are sorry to notify you all that Paul Gerber passed away recently. Paul was a Golf Member, a Bowls Member as well as a Social Member at our Club. We are keeping Paul's family in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Play 9 holes after 15h30 and the price includes a cart and bottle of sanitiser. Members R120 (No cart = R70), Visitors R150 (No cart R100) and Juniors R100 (No cart R50).
