It is important to keep members and guests informed as we see the second wave of Covid-19 cases rising and impacting on all households and businesses. The Club has not been unaffected as we have received numerous reports from members about positive cases, after self-isolating. We have also seen positive cases amongst the staff during this last period, which was dealt with, as per the Covid-19 regulations, and Club policy. The Club will continue to put all measures in place to sanitize the Club, but we need each and every member, guest and staff member to do their part. Please wear masks at all times when walking through the Club, especially in halfway house before you dish up. Masks may only be removed once you are seated or on the tee.
Dear Member,
We trust that everyone had a great festive season, despite the current challenges we all face. The Club had a great December overall, thanks to your support. Golf was very busy as we reached over 9100 rounds for the month, through our two golf courses, which is brilliant, but also takes its toll.
We must consider the impact of so many rounds on course conditions, not to mention the difficulty for the course team to get through daily schedules in between all the golf. Therefore, we must look at alternating course closure and also opening one course a bit later during the week. We are in the process of planning a hollow tining on both courses, which is essential. We will do our best to avoid this impacting on members, but please understand that the courses must be looked after for your enjoyment.

The South African Strokeplay Championship We are very excited to host the South African Strokeplay Championship from Sunday, the 31st of January until Thursday, the 4th of February on Firethorn. Please note the course will be closed to all members and guests over this period.
2021 League We would like to thank all our members who have added their names to the list on the notice boards. The League Committee will be meeting this coming week and all league communication will be sent to all our players who will be representing Randpark this year; this will include the captains for the teams and the respective teams for 2021. The list will remain on the board, so if you have not added your name to the list, you still have time.
Unity Fund Competition – Saturday, 16th of January The Unity Fund Competition will take place this Saturday. All fees raised on the day will go towards the Randpark Unity Fund. There will be great prizes to be won and we will appreciate all the support from our members to make this a great event. Format: Individual Stableford – all day comp
