Wishing the best of luck to two local NENY PGA teams competing in the PGAJL Regional Championships this weekend at The Edison Club. Edison is the host of the PGAJL Regional League Championship with the northeast teams from Connecticut PGA, New England PGA, and NENY PGA for 13Under & 17Under playing in the junior team competition.  

NENY PGA Assistants & Senior Match Play Championship Rescheduled Dates Announced - Sept. 29th-30th Hosted at Wyantenuck CC. A new host site was recently confirmed, and the event is set and open for registrations.

A reminder that the top 10 NENY PGA Rolex POY professionals earn an exemption into the 2021 Match Play Championships and a Qualifier will be held for the remaining six spots.

With the rescheduled Pro Classic Series #4 set to take place on Monday, September 13th at Waubeeka Golf Links, any professional outside of the top 10 should register for the Qualifier if they would like to play. Please note that your Qualifier entry will be refunded if the points change and any professional moves into the top 10 and earns an exemption. Entries for the Qualifier will be accepted through Monday, September 13th at midnight.

For our newer NENY PGA Section Associates and Members, the Silver Dollar Classic is a traditional fundraising event for our Section Associates to help provide some funds to offset the cost of their PGA PGM Professional Golf Program and pursuit towards PGA membership.

This event is administered by the Assistant’s Committee a little differently, so registration is done via the entry form, NOT via the section’s Blue Golf registration.

Remember that the current MSR Cycle ends as of June 15th, 2022. If you are a Member required to earn MSR credits to stay on top, review your “earned” status now to know where you stand. Keep a lookout for local NENY PGA Education seminars, both in-person and virtual, for the fall, winter, and spring of 2022 in the works.
