Daily Wins Sr. Professional Championship
Dal Daily, PGA Head Professional at Battenkill CC, beat Rob Shuey, PGA Head Professional at Onteora Club in a sudden-death playoff on Thursday to win the Senior Professional Championship. Both have qualified and will advance to the PGA Senior Professional Championship to be played this October in Port St. Lucie, Fl.

NENY Section Upcoming Tournaments
Monday, August 30th at Schuyler Meadows Club - Professionals still needed, filled on a first-come, first registration basis.
- NENY PGA Professional will be paired with a foursome sponsor team in a team scramble format.
- No entry, and all professionals will earn a $140 stipend.
- 10:30am: Shotgun Start
All proceeds will benefit ALS Regional Center of St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation.

Our goal is 60% completion for each of these, and currently, the NENY PGA Job Profile completion % is sitting at 54% (81 out of 151) members, and in the PGA Compensation Survey, we only have 41 out of 151 for a mere 27% completion rate.
We know it’s everyone’s crunch time, but PLEASE find just a few moments to complete each of these surveys/profiles as our engagement from our professionals is crucial to help in offering employment services and bettering tailored communications to each of you.
IF you aren’t sure if you’ve completed it - you can ask section staff, or each has been paired down and super simplified to where you can do them anytime and multiple times a year, not just one seat time. Just use your PGA.org account to log in and do both.

Theft Alerts Update At Local Golf Facility
A reminder of a couple of larcenies from motor vehicles that have happened last week at local area Albany golf courses. Pictured below is a male and the vehicle he was driving when he stole credit cards from unlocked cars in the parking lots of golf facilities. Please ensure your customers and patrons lock their vehicles/valuables and continue to monitor your parking lots for any suspicious activity.
