The Club

Dear Member,

It is hard to believe that we are back to level 4 and dealing with this crisis all over again. We are waiting for updated information from GolfRSA regarding adjusted guidelines, but we are in the meantime implementing the below. If there are any important changes, then we will let you know as soon as possible. We ask that all members make an extra effort when at the Club to please distance yourself from others and adhere to the Club’s rules.

1. Golf will continue as usual, but the clubhouse will be closed.
2. The Club will ensure that all members are checked in, in advance, so please make sure your cards are topped up.
3. You can go straight to the tee box and collect your card from the starter/marshal.
4. Only one scorecard will be allocated per fourball.
5. All golf carts will be sanitised and disinfected before and after use.
6. Keep your mask on until you tee off and when you play, make sure you keep your distance from your partner and other players.
7. Please do not remove the flags while playing.
8. Rakes have been removed. Please use your own rake or your Club. You may place in a bunker if you land in an un-raked area.
9. Sanitisers are available on each tee box.
10. Drinks carts will be offering soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers on both courses.
11. Locker rooms will remain open, but shower facilities will be closed.
12. The halfway house will offer grab and go meals only.
13. No alcohol will be sold at the Club, nor will you be allowed to bring your own.

Randpark Unity Fund

We once again call on members to please assist the employees who will be affected by this lockdown. The Unity Fund has assisted employees of Randpark this past year to get through these difficult times by filling their cupboards with groceries, paying towards school fees or medical bills. We ask for members to please assist with a small donation, if possible.

The prize-giving and prize-giving dinner have unfortunately been cancelled.
All players will receive vouchers for HWH for both days.
A virtual prize-giving will be done after all the results have been confirmed.
