Congratulations to Eric Ncube and Vuyisani Makama on their joint first-place finish in the BSI Junior Academy medal with scores of 72 on Royal Johannesburg and Kensington West Course on Friday 18 February 2022. Excellent effort by these two young men as they continue their consistent performances enabled through their process and training with their instructors.

Well done to Mangezi Maswanganyi on winning the BSI Golf Premier Medal played on Friday 18 February 2022, with a score of 67 on Royal Johannesburg & Kensington West Course. His round of 5-under (67) was also a personal best for him for this year and pushes him up to the top of the leaderboard for the Premier Order of Merit 2022. Keep up the great work you are doing in the gym, on the range and with your coaches Mangezi.

| We would like to wish the team of Pieter-Andre van der Merwe, Lefa Maseng, Pranay Kapur and Tylah James all the best as they represent Balderstone Sports Institute in the Pirie Cup, hosted by Pecanwood College later this week at Pecanwood Golf Estate. We have won this team schools event 3 of the last 4 times the tournament was played. |

| Well done to Bernard Meyer on his tied 25th place finish in the African Amateur Strokeplay Championship played at Leopard Creek. Jules Helary placed T63 and Reece Mckain 79th. |
| Congratulations to BSI client, Casandra Alexander for her 2nd place in the Sunshine Ladies Tour SuperSport Challenge played at the Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, last week. Mark Fairbank has been Casandra’s mental coach for the past two years. |

“The academy has helped my game drastically. I’m a completely different player. The facilities are of world-class standards, as well as the coaching team and staff.

My mental game as well as my golf IQ has been the most significant improvement this past year. Talking to my coach about the game and how to play and still score when I’m having an off day technically has been very valuable to me.
I have great friendships not only with people in my year but also in the academy as a whole. It’s been great that I know when I come back in the future, I’ll still have the friendship bonds. After graduation I’ll be doing my apprenticeship.
The team challenge has been memorable to me. Waking up early on a Friday morning to play a competitive round of golf with all the excitement will be something I definitely will miss!” |

The exciting International Soccer Camp week is finally here and everyone at the BSI Football Campus is abuzz with anticipation for the arrival of the coaches and chief scout from SC Farense in Portugal.
