On the Schedule: The Tuesday Night Twi season got started last week. Next week the Friday Twi will begin. It is based on the same format as the Tuesday Twi, (2 person blind draw with 100% handicap), the entry fee is the same ($ 5), and is played every Friday during the golf season starting in May.
The Paul Revere Cup, the years first “Major”, will be contested this weekend. Bob Gryp is the defending champion. To enter, simply sign up in the Pro Shop prior to your round. The format is 18 holes of Net Medal play. You can elect to play your tournament round on Saturday or Sunday.
The Spring Four-Ball will get started next weekend. An 18 hole qualifying round will be played on May 4th. The 16 teams that advance to match play will have a week to complete their 1st round matches. There is a consolation flight for all first round losers. The Thursday Suburban League is also underway. They have played two away matches so far and have lost both by narrow margins. They will be looking to break into the win column this week with their first home match. Team LGC is the defending League Champions winning the title in 2012. Always looking for additional players so if you would like to play in some of the matches, be sure to contact team captains Sam Gallo or Ray Iverson.
